Jefferson Street

Frankie Knuckles, american DJ and producer created the House Music style in a Chicago Club located in 240 Jeffferson St, the Warehouse, between 1977 and 1982. He was known to work with the drum machine TR909 and imagined a new working method consisting in mixing several pieces together (sampling). With this personal production, I wanted to share my tribute to this hero of electronic music. Nowadays, the Warehouse doesn't exist anymore but a part of the Jefferson Street was given the name of Frankie Knuclkes way.
